Hi everyone!
I have just been admitted to both ESCP Europe and HEC for the Master's in Management/Grand Ecole program. I just have some questions I would like to get answers to before making a final decision between the two.
First of all, how well reputed are both of these schools outside of France? It seems that HEC has the slightly better reputation, but does ESCP have recognition as well?
Also, I know campus life is a big component of HEC? How does ESCP compare in this regard? Is it easy to meet people/make friends since people tend to live throughout the city of Paris (I personally am not planning to live near the campus area)? Also, how well do French and international students generally mix with one another?
Another question if anyone knows: I know HEC offers a specific certificate program for luxury strategies. This is a sector in which I am very interested in working in. I would definitely like to do an internship in the luxury industry during my gap year, regardless of which school I choose. Does ESCP offer any courses at all concerning the luxury industry/luxury strategy? Also, would it be possible/how hard would it be to find such an internship for my gap year if I attended ESCP?
I know that this is a lot, but if anyone has any of this information at all and could let me know, I would greatly appreciate it, as I have to make my decision within the next week preferably.
Thank you all so much in advance!! =)
