Hi....I want to know whether I am 'eligible' to buy the ADVANCED MGMAT Quant guide...
I have completed 4 out of 5 of the MGMAT books(yet to do geometry)........my Q score in GMATPrep1-which i took with zero preparation-was 32. After approx. 25 days of going through the MGMAT guides, 75-80% OG12's quant part , GMAT club math forums etc,I took MGMAT CAT 1 and got Q43(with last 6 qs unattempted)....I took the free GMATclub test no 25 and scored 70%ile(i scored 18 or 19 out of 25).
So....what next?? should I re-read the MGMAT guides or get fresh material?
some more background info:
*I need to improve to a 48 AT LEAST.
*I still have 3 months time....so I have the luxury to go through more material......
*pacing is a serious problem with me.....if i take an untimed test, my accuracy can go as high as 95%......but when i solve the the same questions with the timer on, my heartbeat goes up and my accuracy falls down to like 70-75%. any remedy for this?

That's kind of a loaded question.
If you "need" a 48, you need to have comprehension of 48 (or 80+ percentile) content and application. Are you keeping an error log? Are any specific subsections (DS, PS, Geo, Algebra, basic Trig, word problems, etc.) causing you issues?
The advanced MGMAT books are for when the OG and MGMAT content is not enough. If you're stumbling on lower ranked, you need to figure why and address this, then move on to advanced content.

thanks for your reply!
I am not keeping any specialized error log, just marking the questions i get wrong with a star. I have a definite problem with word problems-I kinda lose track of of what has been said by the time i reach the end of the qs....so i have to re-read it-it takes me 3+ minutes to solve such qs. I am also working on DS-inequalities qs....but because i more or less know where i am going wrong in these qs I am sure I will get a grip on themn soon enough.
Geometry-I seem to do fine in PS....but get confused in DS qs.....
From what I have said....it may seem as if I have a problem with DS...but actually my overall accuracy in DS is at par with PS......
I do not know if its the right way to go about it-but i feel if i practice a LOT of qs maybe i will get the hang of it.....
