Hi all,
I am Italian and I am 26. I am planning to apply to LBS in 2016, for this reason I need to get an high gmat (700+).
The point is that I started to study the Quantitative section last week and I found many problems to solve questions (I got 0 correct answers on 10).
I presume that this disaster might be caused by my total ignorance in math.
So I am restarting to study math from the beginning (like if I was at the elementary).
Anyway, is there someone who had my same problem, but, despite it, got a very high gmat score?
Furthermore, do you have some tips for me? do you think might be useful for me to study math from the beginning or is better to attend a gmat course already now?

Hello,
Don't even think about getting upset right now!! You have not even started, so it is okay. The first resource you should have for GMAT is the official guide. It has a good diagnostic test that will give you an actual idea of where you stand and it will point our your weak and strong areas. If I were you taking that test would be the first thing I'd do. After that you can decide if you'd like to choose a prep course, do it yourself or perhaps use a private tutor depending on your needs and budget.
GMAT Club has some great resources to help you find out about the best available content and prep courses in the market, so you can have a look. Since, you are only starting and low on confidence, I do believe that personal one to one sessions from someone who lets you in on the tricks of the trade without bias towards one specific prep company's products might give you an edge. It would be customized to your individual needs, strengths and weaknesses.
