Hi All,
I just took my first official GMAT exam on Saturday and scored a 680 (Q45, V38). I have a few questions and was hoping some of you experts out there have answers...
1) I want to re-take as it has always been a personal goal of mine to break the 700+ barrier.
What is the timeframe I should look to re-take? I was thinking about a month out would be good, as my mind is currently fresh with GMAT material. I typically wake up and study for about two hours before work, and about another hour or two after work (if that helps gauge anything)...
2) What should be my approach to studying? Being that I was an engineer undergrad, I am a little disapointed in my quant score, but I think focusing on verbal would give me the biggest gains in terms of score. Thoughts?
3) Practice Material - I already went through Kaplan Premiere and through all
MGMAT guides one time. I think I am going to go through the Sentence Correction and Math guides again, but are there any other recommendations? I am leaning on trying out the CR Powerscore Bible as well, even though I felt confident after
MGMAT CR.
4) I've also taken each GMAT prep practice test twice and all
MGMAT practice CAT's, but I've heard the
GMAT club tests are good, especially for improving quant? Any opinions?
THANKS!!
