Hi Experts, MartyTargetTestPrep, GMATNinja ,ExpertsGlobal

I have a query regarding my performance. While practicing questions, my accuracy remains high. However, during mock exams, I've noticed a drop in my verbal scores. In the quantitative section, I achieved a score of 47, but I struggle to reach a score of 30+ in the verbal section during mock tests. I suspect that the time constraint during the actual test is causing increased pressure. but during practice sessions, I've tried with a timer and successfully managed to complete verbal questions within time. I tried official mocks and manhattan prep mocks.
With my exam just three days away, I'm seeking any advice or suggestions you might have for these final moments of preparation. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Using question/time markers may help your time management. Seeing/thinking over whether you may act differently on mocks compared to timed practice sets could also be helpful. Do you, for example, do RCs the same way or do you spend more time reading the passage on a mock?

Actually, I tried both - Initially I gave mock with spending more time on reading to understand properly and later a few mocks I tried spending less time to ensure to finish test within time but still no improvement in score.

Hi hemaja31,

Since you are so close to your Official Test Date, you have to be careful about trying to do too much studying (we do not want you to inadvertently 'burn out' before your Exam). In these last few days, you should limit your studies to general practice and light review (NO CATs and NO 'cramming') - you would be better served by getting some extra rest so that you can go into Test Day calm, clear-headed and ready to work. Once you have your Official Scores, you should post back here (or you can feel free to PM or email me directly) and we can discuss your results.

1) What is your overall Goal Score?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Since your test is only 3 days away, I think you should start to wind down your prep. After all, you want to be as fresh as possible for test day. Let us know how things go, and we can take things from there.
