Hi there,
Thanks for posting, and good for you for thinking ahead.
You ARE quite far out from actually applying, so in terms of asking 'is my profile good enough' etc, while yes your academics are strong and it's great that you have a job lined up etc, overall it's impossible to truly 'assess' your profile for admission until you've got several years of work experience under your belt and are closer to applying. But here are some things to consider for now....
- GMAT: GMAT scores are valid for 5 years, and statistically people do better the sooner after undergrad they take it.... plus will save you time and stress when it DOES get closer to application time. So consider prepping for and taking it sooner rather than later.
-At work: learn as much as you can; go above and beyond what is expected of you; seek out leadership and teamwork experiences; make an effort to build relationships and work well with others; keep track of your accomplishments
-Outside of work: any community or volunteering experiences, especially that you can speak passionately about, are a plus. Other interests and activities are nice to have too.
-Research and planning: Spend the coming years doing research when you can.... research 1) info related to your planned post-MBA career (speak with people in roles, and recruiters, at companies you might consider for example and read up all you can), and 2) research specific schools-- visit, speak with students/alum, read about differences and settings etc. This will help greatly at application time.
Good luck to you!
