Hi uvs...and helg thanks...

business attire in sports bar...formal or semi formal..or any other dress code... what if she turns in formal/ semi formal or casual...am very confused

please pardon my doubts....am sounding stupid..I know

Helg slacks for a guy??

And moreover Columbia threads are not projecting very good image of the female alum...

This is a tough one. I wore a suit to a breakfast diner for my interview. It is hard to fault someone for wearing a suit to an interview no matter the location, so I say suit unless the interviewer tells you otherwise.

Also, I had a female alum interview me, and, although she missed the first time we were supposed to meet, she was great!

So in your opinion to be on safe side...I should wear suit....OK..

best way = ask the interviewer what he/she prefers. I did that for UCLA, even though the admissions office said formal wear, the interviewer said business casual is fine. I added a tie and a sweater (it was cold) just in case. I personally hate wearing suits unless I have to.

To be safe, just wear a suit no matter what. I had an interview recently and the interviewer mentioned that we would do it at the 'casual' room at his office. Little did I know that his PE company's casual meant Pierre Cardin instead of Aarmani. I was thanking my lucky stars that I wore a suit...

hmm, they really seem to harp on the gmat
