Hello.

Are the SC questions in OG and GMATPrep consistent with the quality of questions offered in the real GMAT exam? I am able to score ~85-90% in the OG and GMATPrep CATs. Do I need to put in more effort, if I'm targeting V40+?

Thanks.

The Gmatprep tests are the best approximation to the actual Gmat. The OG and Gmatprep simulates the Gmat in all sections, not only the SC.
If you are consistently scoring in your target score in Gmatprep tests, then you are ready.

Yes, of course. I just wanted to know if OG reflects the quality of questions asked in the actual exam, at least in Verbal.

My latest GMATPrep CAT score (about a week ago): 720 Q50 V37. SC: 5 incorrect CR: 4 incorrect RC: all correct. My GMAT is in 40 days. Focussing on SC and CR for now. I'm targeting 750+.
The OG is a collection of real (but retired) GMAT questions, so it is definitely representative of what the GMAT tests. That said, it also includes questions across difficulty levels, whereas the GMAT is more likely to give you questions that are close to your ability level. So, some of the questions in the OG may be too easy (or too tough) for you.

Your GMATPrep scores are good. Focus on those.
