Advise me on GMAT Prep

Question

Hi ! 

I have started my Gmat prep and looking for right kind of material to study. Heard a lot about Manhattan, Kaplan, Princeton. Please suggest me which books i should by.

The best way to get an answer to your question is to go through the forum stickys. Read the experiences of people who have given the GMAT and see which prep strategies worked for them and which didn't.
 Some of the material that I've used and found good is 

Kaplan Premier
Princeton review 2007
Kaplan 800
Mahattan review SC
OG 11
GMATPrep software
SC/CR/RC 1000 docs (Search for a link to them in the forum)
GMATClub challenges

Last but not the least you can use the math and verbal forums. People keep posting some tough questions there...

Wow, that's a lot of materials! My hat's off to you, dude. I'm not nearly as diligent!!!

I would strongly recommend starting with Princeton Review Cracking the GMAT (best overall review book, great tests also), the Official Guide 11th edition, and the GMATPrep tests. Then see where you need to go from there.

Books I like using are the Kaplan books and the Manhattan Review books. They're both reallythorough in my opinion and have a lot of info that isn't in other books. And the OG of course.

Thnaks Guys ! I was kind of confuse with so much material in the market. Anyone can please let me know if there is any differnce in Verbal workout from Princeton 2004 edition and the verbal workout 2nd edition from Princeton. I got the 2004 edition. And shall i go for math workout also.

Don't get bogged down in the versions of the books you have - the one you have will be fine.

There may be a few different questions etc, but really basing that as your learning resource with the OG questions as well - you should be well placed.
