Hi everyone..
I am new to gmat and this is my first post though i have given kudos in more than plenty(for questions i have read , for pdf's i have downloaded, for good solutions too)
I am going to appear for my gmat on 16th july. I started preparing for the gmat in 2nd week of may.
I am an Indian Male Engineer with one year iof work experience and currently doing my MBA from Indian Institute of technology Kharagpur...
the problem is i am not able to decipher the english section specially CR(read some prtions from POWER score bible and
mgmat book) and SCs(though i have read
MGMAT SC but in vain , also i have read aristotle SC grail)..
IN 1st gmat prep i gave i got 680 and in 2nd i got 660
after resetting a month later i gave the exams again and got 740 and 7200 respectively..
in power preps i got 700 in both .51Q and 34V
with kaplans test that comes free with kaplan primer 2013 in first one i got 630 and then 710,710,730,710..
and in free kaplan test that i gave just now i got 750...
in
mgmat tests i started off with 610 then 620,650,680,680 and 680..I am not able to score more thn 47 in quant in
mgmat and 34-35 in verbal..is the maths in gmat will be lof
mgmat level(only modulus based questions with some absurd cordinate geometry problems) or gmat prep and power prep levels and same about verbal what will be its level like mgmats(i feel rcs of mgmats are too lame and very long every rc is bloody 70 words)...
so my question is will I be able to cross the 700 barrier and how to plan my small amount of precious time left....
I either want to go for an MBA frm INSEAD/ISB/LSB or a phd from any of the Ivy leagues...reason why i am giving my GMAT now is bcz I will now prepare for CFA's all levels so will have no time for GMAT prepn in near future..SO seeing myy profile how much score will be enough for MBA(these 3 colleges) /PHD ..
please answer as i m in a dire fix now
