Hi Physio,
Do not get disappointed with the score.AN improvement is always possible. As you have a month left, I would recommend you to check the GMATWhiz online course. Many people have got benefited from it and improved their score by more than 100 points.

I personally improved my scored from a 570 to 680. So a 20 point improvement should not be a major concern. I believe you have a scope of much more improvement if you take GMATWhiz. Do check it out. All the best!

I just received my official GMAT score and I'm very suprised and disappointed. I scored a 360 (Q14, V23). I really don't get it, considering my last official prep score of 480 (Q31, V25). I found the Quant section way harder than the official prep exams and the official review questions.

I am eligible to start my master program, but when your score is between 300-450, they advice you to do some additional study to meet the analytical and mathematical standards.

I have a couple of questions now.
1) I'm very insecure about my skills at the moment. The last official mock exam proved that I do have the skills, but this official exam proves otherwise. How is it possible to drop 120 points? I don't know how to value the mock exam now .
2) Considering my score, I think I have to increase my Quant skills the most. Do you have some recommendations about how to study further from now on?
3) My verbal score was V23, while my last mock exam was V25. Is this score good enough for a 450? I would like to know if my Verbal skills also need more practice, or if they are fine.

Thanks in advance.

As I mentioned earlier, if you are looking for a quick turn around, do check out GMATWhiz course. I improved my score by more than 100 points by studying using GMATWhiz. There is a facility of scheduling a free consultation call with the GMAT Strategy Consultant. I can provide you with the link if you want.

There are gaps in your skills. That's all. Sometimes your skills and the questions you see match up, and other times, they don't. So, your score bounces all over the place.

Your verbal score isn't super high, but a reasonable quant score combined with V23 would get you to a total score way higher than 450.

You just have to prepare for real, by doing some in-depth work on quant.
