Hey everyone. I've posted this on Reddit as well (
https://www.reddit.com/r/MBA/comments/h ... ss_school/), but wanted to post here as well to reach a wider audience. Please share if you know anyone in this situation.
About me: I'm a current student at INSEAD and a member of the leadership team of the Africa Business Club there. I'm Zimbabwean-Australian.
I'm looking to connect with African applicants/admits/students/alums at other business schools to talk about your experiences - including the process / any challenges of applying and getting in, getting visas, getting financial support etc, as well as the experience at business school itself (and afterwards if you're an alum) - social life, recruiting, academic representation / cases, whatever you want to share!
I'm casting my net wide. Any 'tier' of school welcome. Happy to hear from anyone with a connection to Africa, whether you were born there, grew up there, worked there, consider yourself a member of the diaspora, have family there, etc. Whether you plan to go or return there after business school, or later, or never, or unsure.
Bonus: if you're a member of a formal Africa group of any kind at your school, please get in touch as well, as a club we really want to strengthen our relationships with groups at other schools!
Reply here or PM me, here or on Reddit, whatever you prefer. Also, if you're reading this some time after it's posted (e.g. you're here from a web search or something), please feel free to reply anyway, or contact the INSEAD Africa Club directly.
