B fits the bill : some of his crew mandated that Hudson be forced to leave the ship.
---->correct usage is "mandate that" .the construction has to be subjunctive

The subjects in the sentence did not mandate it to the Hudson , they mandated in general to force Hudson to leave the ship.

For example : Government of Eurosia mandated that foreigners be forced to use public transport.

Hudson to leave the ship.


A. some of his crew mandated for Hudson to leave the ship. (Mandate is a subjunctive verb and should be followed by that)
B. some of his crew mandated that Hudson be forced to leave the ship. (Correct)
C. some of his crew mandated for frc to leave the ship. (Same as A)
D. some of his crew had a mandate that Hudson be forced to leave the ship.(Usage of had is wrong)
E. some of his crew mandated to Hudson be forced to leave the ship. (Same as A)
