After paying the exam fee for the GMAT, how many attempts can I take, and do I have to pay for each additional attempt?
Hi rohanrashinkar2,

To answer the first part of your question, you can take the GMAT up to 5 times in a rolling 12-month period (minimum 16-day gap between attempts).

Each test-centre appointment costs ~$325 (275 + 49.5 tax @18%). You could request your target schools to give you a GMAT coupon, but that's a little iffy.

Hey, AjiteshArun bb
What is the required gap between GMAT Focus Edition attempts? Do weekends and holidays count in the 16-day waiting period? For example, if someone takes the test on July 3, when would they be eligible to retake it?

16 days apart, so it would be 19th. The system will automatically disable you from being able to schedule it sooner.

You can actually go into the mba.com scheduling system and try to schedule a second exam (it allows to schedule 2) and you will see that there are no slots/availability until the 19th.
