Hi Experts,
MartyTargetTestPrep I had rejected Option E as we expect life expectancy improvements to be in days while as per the option the improvement is from a rate. Please advise whether my reasoning was valid to reject the option? Please can you advise the valid reason for rejecting option E.
Thanks
That's a great reason to reject (E).
Also, there's another issue with the meaning conveyed by the (E) version.
Notice what we get by simplifying the (E) version: "children's ... improvement from the ... mortality rate."
We can clearly see that the (E) version seems to convey the nonsensical meaning that children themselves had an improvement from the mortality rate. Of course, children cannot improve from a rate.
