Age constraint for MSc programs in Imperial College

Hi,
I wonder if anyone knows about this topic. I would like to apply for a technical master program in Imperial such as MSc in Business Analytics as I want to pivot my career to more technical side. However, the program average age is only 23, and I will be 31 if I get admitted to 2022 intake. Is it possible for older applicants to get admitted to MSc in Imperial?
Most of the time when I try to reach out to admission teams, they advise me to apply for MBA instead. But I have no interest in management programs, as I want to go for technical side instead. Not sure if anyone has some knowledge on this topic?
Thank you

Interesting... I guess average being 23, most of their applicants/students are straight from the Undergrad. If you have reached out and that is what they suggested, I think that is as "definite" of an answer as they can provide. It is illegal for them to decline an applicant based on age. That would be discrimination since the program does not list the max age and I can't imagine they would but they likely don't see a fit for a more experienced person like you. They are concerned about being able to provide you a proper recruiting path and also they feel you won't get the value since most of your classmates will have had the same degree. Anyway, it is a hint, and you can either take it or not but I think you may want to consider a different Masters program.
