Starting a new thread for all those interested in appyling to the AGSM MBA course of Jan2013!!

Also, calling all the alumni as well as current students of AGSM to share their experience!!

I am in for the first round as an early applicant.. 8-)

@Rni - Well i also applied to MSGM and was accepted there too. But i rejected the offer as i was also accepted at AGSM with scholarship..

@Manpreet , gottawin , and Vikas ...Congratulation .. I have accepted the offer and made the deposit to secure place. As per scholarship, i recieved community service scholarship ..

So, guys, all of you secured your place at the university?

Just curious to know what living options are you looking at? It's seems to be very expensive to live near the university. Especially if someone plans to do it alone.

Any thoughts?

Congrats to all who could make it to AGSM. Requesting all selected ppl to share their  PROFILE  and  GMAT SCORES . 
Also plz mention if you have got any  scholarship  and the amount of the same. 
Please also share your  interview experience , wht were the q's asked?
Also since you have decided to join AGSM, please throw light on the following:
1. Jobs options/opportunities for Indians in Aus post AGSM?
2. How easy it is to manage Wrk Permit/ PR post AGSM?
3. Any info which can help future applicants?
4. I wud be grateful if those selected can share their email in pm, wud like to stay in touch, I am a Jan 14 applicant.

Hi versatile!

As for me, questions were as follows:

1. Why AGSM?
2. Why now?
3. Specific questions about work experience and especially current place of work.
4. Plans after graduation (whether you want to stay in Australia or come back home).
5. What do you think you will bring to the community?
6. What questions do you want to ask?

hi all, had my interview earlier this week with Mark Stewart. Apparently I should know by end of this week whether yes or no. For those of you who applied to scholarships, did you apply before or after the acceptance into the program?

I believe that one may apply to scholarships only after acceptance. This was my case too.

I had my interview on 16th August for R2, but till now have not heard anything from them.After the interview, I was told that I would be informed within a week. So, do I need to contact them or should I wait for their reply?

Usually the are pretty prompt and would reply ..I would suggest you better wait for another say another 5 days ..
