The probability of getting all 10 questions correct is (1/2)^10 and probability of getting 9 questions correct is 10*(1/2)^10 as he can make the error on any one of 10 questions. So probability of more than 8 correct is 11/1024 IMO Option B

Total ways = 2^10 = 1024.
To score more than 8 marks. He has to answer 9 correct or 10 correct
= 10c9 + 10c10
= 11
Probability = 11/1024
IMO Option B
