Algebra

For a quadratic equation $$ax^2 +bx +c =0$$

a= coefficient of $$x^2$$
b= coefficient of x
c= constant value of the equation

x = $$\frac{-b ∓ \sqrt{b^{2}- 4ac}}{2a}$$

Let the two roots of the equation be $$\alpha$$ & $$\beta$$ then ,

$$\alpha$$ + $$\beta$$ = $$\frac{-b}{a}$$

$$\alpha*\beta$$ = $$\frac{c}{a}$$

Exponents

$$0^{n}$$ = 0

$$1^{n}$$ = 1

$$x^{0}$$ = 1

$$x^{1}$$ = x

$$x^{-n}$$ = $$\frac{1}{x}$$

$$x^{m}*x^{n}$$ = $$x^{m+n}$$

$$\frac{x^{m}}{x^{n}}$$ = $$x^{m-n}$$

$$(x^{m})^{n}$$ = $$x^{m*n}$$

$$(\frac{x}{y})^{n}$$ = $$\frac{x^{n}}{y^{n}}$$
