Assume that she sells x magazine, so so revenue would be 10x and cost is 3x +10500

We need to breakeven hence we can write equation as 10x=3x+10500 - >
7x=10500-> x = 1500

A. 750

C. 1,250
D. 1,500
E. 15,000

let the number of magazines be =x
to break even there is no profit no loss so,

3x+10500=10x
10500=7x
x=1500

Printing cost- selling price = 0
3x+10500-10x=0
so 7x=10500
x= 1500

Tried solving it through logic and by eliminating options:

Given: Production cost as\$3 per magazine + 10500 additional cost.
Also selling price is \$10 per magazine.
Now for break even, we must recover the fixed \$ 10500

Option A: 750 *10= 7500
Option B: 1000*10 = 10000
You can eliminate these two options at a glance.

Option C: 1250 *10= 12500
Do some math here: 3*1250 + 10500= 14250
Not getting the break even.

Option D: 1500 *10= 15000
3*1500 + 10500= 15000
Minimum magazine number achieved.
