I think studying with friends help too - when not watching Heroes!!

hi surfpacifica,
I live in SJ, which is not far from you.
My score is not good either, so I will schedule to retake the exam in Dec.

targeting Dec 2nd wk and hopefully a 700+

started with a 620 on kaplan online diag test last wk. got my prep materials (kaplan800, OG11, OG Quant & Verbal reviews, Princeton..also have OG10th from a while ago). Now remains to be seen how badly I want it.

Cheers mates

Hello All,

I am giving my GMAT in Dec 2008. Looking forward to a fruitful discussion. I took the GMAT Prep 1. Got 660. Have a long way to go if I want to get 750+.

I took Gmat a few weeks back but did not score very well. I want to do it again some time in Jan or Feb. I did not go to school in CA. I got a foreign degree.

Hi Samarg,
I would start with the MGMAT Guides and the OG official guide and supplement. The MGMAT guides give you access to 6 CAT exams which are invaluable.
The CR GMAT Bible from Powerprep is excellent if you need to improve on CR. However, try the other guides and complete the diagnostic test to gauge you performance in all areas first.
Goodluck!

My GMAT is tomorrow (dec 3rd) and I've done all the studying I could.
