IMO Option E
The cost of 300 grams of A is Rs 5.40 which is the least among the five choices.

Good question.

Looking at cost per gram of fat, we have
Food A: 1.80/30 = .06 per gram
Food B: 3.00/10 = .30 per gram
Food C: 2.75/40 $$\approx{.07}$$ per gram

Dump ANY choice with Food B.

You could buy five grams of A for ONE gram of B, and 4+ grams of C for one gram of B.

The other three were too close to call in my head, but the numbers are easy.

(C) 200 grams of Food C
If 100g = 2.75, 200g will be double that: $5.50 (D) 150 grams of A, 100 grams of C A: 1.5($1.80) = $2.70 C: 2.75 Total:$5.45

(E) 300 grams of A
3($1.80) =$5.40

**I did not calculate A or B while on the timer, but
(A) 200 grams of A, 150 grams of B:
2($1.80) + 1.5(3.00) =$3.60 + 4.50 = $8.10 (B) 500 grams of B, 100 grams of A 5($3.00) + $1.80 =$16.80

No contest.
