Hi
Alaia,
That is great you are being proactive about mitigating your low GPA. Having A's in 2-3 classes would be great. Typically schools look for quantitative courses so the ones you are taking sound great. I would also consider an Accounting course to round out some of the core business fundamentals.
Otherwise, you could take courses that relate to your professional / post-MBA goals, like data science, Excel, project management, etc. Depends on what you are aiming for, but that can be a smart strategy to show your academic strengths while also preparing for a career transition!
If you retook Stats and got an A-, no I don't think you need to take that again.
Hope that helps!

Hi!
I’m currently building an alternative transcript to help with my horribly low uGPA.
I’m currently taking 2 classes (Math for Management and Microeconomics) at UC Berkeley Extension and am on track to receiving A’s in both.
In my past, I took Intro to Stats at a community college prior to transferring to my undergrad school. I initially failed it but retook it the next quarter and got an A-. Do you suggest I take intro to stats again?
I also took a Macroeconomics course at the same community college and received an A-. Do you have any other suggestions for classes I can take now to add to my alternative transcript?
Thank you!
