Although dozens of New York’s small museums are either

there are many one-of-a-kind museums from Manhattan to

This sentence do not establish contrast and there and connectiing word that establishes a contract cannot be the answer. this is because local history or various ethnic groups have no contrast with summer opening.
Elimate A, B and E,
The introduction of But in C makes it wrong.
The best answer shd be D
Anyway what is the OA
