Dear
SajjadAhmad,
I'm happy to respond.
My friend, this is an atrocious question. There is one answer, (B), that virtually every native English speaker would choose, and four answers that are embarrassingly wrong. This question is several notches easier than the easiest question on the GMAT. This question demonstrates no knowledge of the high standards of the GMAT. Really, this question would appropriate, say, for a non-native speaker who was at or just past TOEFL level but who was not yet ready for all the difficulty of the official GMAT questions. For someone who needed practice in that "warm up" region before tackling official GMAT questions, this might be appropriate. Don't think of this question as something that would prepare you for the GMAT in any way.
Does all this make sense?
