'it can complete certain tasks' isn't it independent clause and semi colon should come before the sentence?
Also the word "becoming" sounds awkward that is why I selected C but its wrong

Not if there is a conjunction in the sentence, and this sentence includes a subordinating conjunction, although.

Although {sub + verb}, {sub + verb}.
