Hi,
I am Indian origin student and an Engineering bachelor with 1year of work Ex., I am pretty confused ,whether to take GMAT now or to wait for next cycle. I have just finished with
OG and now will start taking practice tests with parallel studies
Doubts:
- a) i have not taken dates yet
- b) i have not given toffle yet
- c) i want to apply for december rounds
- d) i want scholarship
- e) i have not even started with documentations (i dont know how much time will it take to arrange all documents in Mumbai University)
- f) plus i have only one year of work experience
Is it worth giving an November attempt or should i take time and prepare for next attempts. And if in case i decide to give exam what should be my immediate course of actions.I know I have woken up very late , but this is how it is. In desperate need for some guidance.
Here is what I suggest:
Start working seriously for GMAT right now. It sometimes takes a few months to get the score you want. Aim to take the test by Jan. That gives you 6 months extra in case you need to retake.
Apply next year in round 1. The process will start from July/Aug. You will have 2 years of work ex by that time. Since GMAT will be out of the way, you can focus on your essays and the rest of the application. This year will be too rushed. The apps require a lot of time, effort and money - make it worthwhile by giving it your best.
