Hi guys,
You must have all heard about the decision taken by the Trump administration on the US VISAs, right?
What did you think about it?
Are you worried that the ban might affect your MBA application this year?
Anyhow, I have planned to conduct a Live Chat session with a Kelley School of Business student, Keerthana Indukuri (Deloitte), who is currently in the US and knows much about the situation.
In the session, we will be discussing the current scenario of the international students in the US and about the impact of the US student VISAs ban on future MBA applicants and on their employment.
So, who is Keerthana Indukuri, right? She is a Kelley MBA student who is in the US right now and she is someone who was awarded a Forte Fellowship Scholarship of $ 50,000 for demonstrating exemplary leadership. Being someone who had gone through all the VISA application processes, she will be able to give us more clarity on the current US VISAs ban issue.

Hasn't this decision been reversed yesterday ? At least that was the news all over the media (in India)...
Also just have gone through one article that Trump is very likely to bring in merit based immigration (perhaps before the election). Honestly, if that happens then I think most of the internationals will veer off towards US schools this fall...
Accordingly European and Asian schools will gonna have a really tough time to attract international students. What do you think ?

Currently, there are so many unanswered questions. We also have a lot of ambiguous answers related to this topic.
And that is the reason why I decided to conduct this session.
I have had a lot of my students ask me what I think of the US B-schools situation.
And with this session, I am trying to give them more clarity on the VISA issue. As we have Keerthana joining us from the US, we will definitely be able to get a better picture of the current situation.
Currently, there are so many unanswered questions. We also have a lot of ambiguous answers related to this topic.
And that is the reason why I decided to conduct this session.
