Lets say... 3 people bought tables and 2 people bought chairs....so half of those who bought chairs is 1 people..... So this 1 guy also bought a table.....so total 4 people are there....2 bought only table...1 bought only chair...and 1 bought both.....

So... total 4 people and 3 bought table.... Percentage of people bought table = 75%

Among the customers who bought either tables or chairs at a certain furniture store, the ratio of customers who bought tables to customers who bought chairs is 3:2.
If half of those who bought chairs also bought tables, what percent of customers bought tables?
Among the customers who bought either tables or chairs at a certain furniture store, the number of customers who bought tables = x%/2 + y%
Among the customers who bought either tables or chairs at a certain furniture store, the ratio of customers who bought chairs = x%
(x%/2 + y%)/x% = 3/2
1/2 + y%/x% = 3/2
x% = y%
100% - 2x% = 0
x% = 50%
The percent of customers bought tables = 3x%/2 = 75%
