Among the first ten cyclists who crossed the finish-line, 4 were Italians and 8 represented Telefonica team. How many cyclists who represented Telefonica team and finished in the top ten were not Italians?

a: 2 Italians who finished in the top ten did not represent Telefonica team
b: Each of the top ten finishers either was an Italian or represented Telefonica team or both

Among the first ten cyclists who crossed the finish-line, 4 were Italians and 8 represented Telefonica team. How many cyclists who represented Telefonica team and finished in the top ten were not Italians?

a: 2 Italians who finished in the top ten did not represent Telefonica team
b: Each of the top ten finishers either was an Italian or represented Telefonica team or both

the top ten can be

8( 4 of which are itlaians) + 2 non itlaians or not telephonica.

8( 3 of which are itlaians)+ 1itlaian+ 1 non itlain or non telephonica

8( 2 of which are itlaians + 2 itlaians not telephonica)

from 1

3rd scenario is ok.............insuff...... as Vish below has note ( thanks mate )

hey yezz

i think we must consider a case that 'There is no sponserer than the Telefonica'.

In A there is still some doubt.. like say 2 cylist represend Cocacola team?then? is Asuff.?

Clearly A

a) states that 2 Italians are not in telefionica hence 2 italians are in tele.hence out of 8 6 are tele but not italians SUFFI
b) out of 4 how many are tele and italians cannot be determined
INSUFFI
