The initial height of the ice sculpture is 48 meters, and it melts at a constant rate over 6 days, meaning the height reduces to 0 meters after 6 days.
Since the melting rate is constant, the sculpture's height decreases by 48 meters ÷ 6 days = 8 meters per day.
Therefore, at the end of day 1, the height is 48-8 = 40 m, and after 4 days, it is 48-8*4= 48-32 = 16 m.
Therefore, H1 = 40m and H2 = 16m.
