An action is either obligatory or voluntary. It can't be both.
But, the above statement says "she volunteers when required". That is
a contradiction.

Even after spending a lot of time and reading all comments, I am not able to understand that why D is not more appropriate than B. Even if I consider B to be one of the right answers, D sounds more logical? Request experts to please detail out this one. Thanks
