The number of customers on Jan 1’2015 is 250.
The percent increase for the next two months = 20% = 1 + (1/5) = (6/5)
The subsequent months the percent increase is 10% = (11/10).
Number of customer on May 1,2015 = ?
On Feb End = 250*(6/5) = 300
On Mar End = 300*(6/5) = 360
On Apr End = 360 * (11/10) = 396
So, on May 1,2015 we have a total of 396 customers.
