So, here we are at the end of Sept. I went back and found the first file I could find that I'd worked on.
I started on 7/06. Man does that seem like a long time ago.
In that time I've:
Created 48 revisions of my resume
Created 98 revisions of my Harvard essays
Created 32 revisions of my Kellogg essays
Created 36 revisions of my Chicago essays
So where am I now?
It took me 12 weeks to do 3 schools.
Twelve weeks, 60 workdays and 12 Sundays. I put in about 2-3 hours a night on workdays, and 6-7 on sundays. That means that so far, I've put in about 200-250 hours into this.
Thats mind boggling isn't it?
The good thing is I'm getting faster at it. Harvard took me a month and a half. Kellogg 3 weeks. Chicago 3. Maybe I can get it down to two weeks per school!
I was originally planning on the following
HBS
Kellogg
Chicago
Yale
Georgetown
And now I'm thinking:
HBS - DONE
Kellogg - DONE
Chicago - DONE
Yale - R1, Oct 25 Deadline (I'm thinking of dropping yale from my list, I really dont have a great reason that its on here right now.)
Cornell - R2, Nov 9 deadline (75% done already)
Georgetown - R1, Dec 1 deadline
Darden - R2 Dec 5 deadline
I think I might even be able to squeeze in one more.
Hows it going for everyone else?
Overwhelmed?
