I had scheduled to take my GMAT exam today, but due to a name mismatch between my GMAT profile and passport, I wasn’t allowed to proceed.
The Pearson representative at the exam center mentioned that a ticket has been raised and provided a contact number for follow-up. However, the number is only available Monday to Friday.
I need to reschedule my exam urgently as some of my target schools have deadlines approaching, with the latest being January 5, 2025.
Given the time crunch, can I create a new account to book an earlier slot? Would that violate any rules? (This was supposed to be my first attempt.)
I’ve noticed an available slot before January 5, 2025, but I’m worried the name correction might delay things, preventing me from applying to my schools.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Don't think a new account would be possible with same name and Date of Birth. You may give it a try...

Hi Rahuljaggu,
You should call Pearson customer support up immediately (Monday-Fri 9 AM-6 PM in India). They normally do this quite quickly (a few days), but given how close we are to major deadlines and holidays, I don't know how long the process will take.
