Look who is responding to your post- all of us. We all know what you went through; that you may have been a little shaken up by the cosmetics of the real test because it is VERY different from all practice tests available. It actually IS computer adaptive and DOES choose questions that you have never seen before. 1% of test takers get their ideal score on the first crack, so take a day or two off to revamp your verbal strategy, and jump back in wholeheartedly. I too am trying for attempt #2 after being mortified by a 570 last September. But the past is the past. Learn from it and move on...
There is no doubt in my mind that you will be shocked when you see your second score next month, a full 100 points higher than today`s.

I am sure it was a miss. May be it was not your day to rev your verbal score up. I think that you should plan and take the second one if you think you can certainly improve your score.
I can tell you, depending upon your response, that you are a potential7 person. Make a call and come back here soon.

. Good luck on your second attempt. I'm sure you will do very well. By the way, my biggest improvement was in verbal, you can reference my post (which i will type soon) in regard to the strategy I used.
