Hey cj,

Don't get disappointed. Take a weeks vacation and then try again. I am sure you can do it. Failures are not the end of life and BTW this is not a failure. Take this as a lesson and gear up. We (atleast me) are not god gifted brains, we have earned what we have by sheer will and hard work. So why stop now.

You don't need to give up here. Try one more time.
I know you won't be in a good mood but could you elaborate on how you felt in verbal section? Was it too tough? What was the breakup of SC, RC & CR?

cj,
It happens sometimes. Verbal is very deceptive. Do not let it bother you too much. Re-focus yourself and re-take the test. This time, you know where you need to improve. In addition, you will have more experience.
Good Luck

Cheer up, dude...! Next time you only need to worry about one section. Are you sure it wasn't a stamina issue ? Probably, by the time you reached verbal..you were too tired to think clearly. It happens to me on all practice tests.

Take some time off , reassess and nail the beast !

Hey CJ,

Actually, you have a solid math score so now all you have to do is focus on your verbal for another few months and things will be fine. What was your actual score? 570-590?

Hey CJ,

Don't worry at all. Just forget it, there is no point thinking about what happened. Give the beast the best of you again!

By the way, your quant score is very good.

Take a break, refresh & come back, we all are here for you :)

Hey CJ ,

Dont get disappointed , it's just a test . The good point is that your quant section is strong , so you just have to work on the verbal section .

Do a RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis ) to know what actually went wrong in the verbal section , forget about your verbal score you got during your practise test , think of the real test ... what did u feel u were lacking , whether the SC too tough ... or were u too tired to think or comprehend RC ,CR .... buddy think about everything possible and try to strengthen those .

With quant already under your belt ,it's just matter of time for verbal .
Good luck .

CJ,

I think you deserve better. Your quant score is  I'm sure you can raise your verbal with more practice!

Don't give up...you've come this far. However, I must say verbal is quite tough and pacing is crucial. Did you get alot of CRs towards the end?

Hi CJ, I suggest you to focus only on verbal forum in your next attempt. You can brush through math and some challenges 2 weeks before the actual exam. That was my approach and it worked for me.
