Hi again.
Check out this page:
https://gmatclub.com/wiki/Chat

You just need to log in and you can chat with whoever is logged in to the chat room.

Do you have any suggestions on how to popularize the service? Certainly not many people are using it at the moment.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yeah I have a few:

Firstly it's in a remote location of the site, not so easily accessible. If it was available in the forums for example, that would bring it out. It needs to be advertised.

Secondly many of gmatclubbers use the forums at work and IRC is blocked for some of us. So in my case I can only use it at home.

Lastly, we should have events there eg 1 hour chat sessions.
For starters we have lots of very knowledgeable ambassadors. We should hold events like Kellogg day where our kellogg experts anwser any questions for an hour regarding kellogg, admissions, life there etc. You could also host chat sessions with some admission consultants where they answer various questions and do basic profile evaluations. Again this can be promoted through the forums and otherwise.

Hope that helps :-D

Thank you for the valuable ideas! We'll consider these but I can't promise anything for sure.

+2 for you.
