I don't agree with the OA.
Not a perfect wording I must say, but anyway we have fairly simple equation:
12/7*x-7/12*x=95 --> x=84 --> 7/12*x=49.
So if by "the correct answer" question means 7/12 of the amount then the answer should be E.
Thanks for clearing that up Bunuel! That's what I thought the OA should be.
