Hi all,
I recently started studying for the GMATs. After practicing a bit, I came to realize that I need heavy duty work on both the verbal/math sections. I am very committed to scoring well on the GMAT, and will most likely spend around 2-3 hours a day on it for the next year or two depending on my results.
However, I am concerned with the optimal method of studying. I'm the type of person who tends to focus on one thing too much when I'm trying to do well in it, so I'm worried that I may dedicate too much time to either one of the subjects. Would you guys recommend me alternating subjects everyday? For example, on Monday I would study quantitative, on Tuesday I would study verbal, then switch off every day. Or would a better way to study be to alternate subjects every week? I see some examples of people here focusing on one particular section, such as SC for a few particular months at a time, but I'm worried that I may forget or get worse at other sections such as RC or Quantitative if I focus too long/too much on one section. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.
