Hi, I just finished the mba's website prep-test 1 and came up with a 31Q and 34V to equal a total score of 540. I hear that this test is the best predictor as it is from the actual testing company. This is the first time I have ever taken this test and I plan on taking the real thing for my Macc program in a couple of months.
For my program, a 550 gets you in, a 600 gives eligibility for assistantships, a 630= extremely competitive for one. As you can guess I would like some of that money!
I am very satisfied with the score I got as I am hoping I am in a good position for some improvement in a short amount of time. I am not trying for 700's, but if I got a 650 I would be ecstatic.
The Critical Reasoning and Reading Comp. were my strong suites in Verbal.
Data sufficiency and geometry were very weak in Quant. (I had never seen a DS question before)
Any thoughts on some strategies or particular materials that would work best for my goals? Is a 650 in a month or two a relatively achievable goal coming from a 540?

Hey Congrats on the score. I got 540 on my first one as well

You should be able to improve 100 points in about 1.5-2 months or maybe even less.
