Hi all,
I have applied to Baruch's MAcc program. All materials for the application are in except for my final transcript since I am an undergrad Senior as we speak. Apparently, unlike other Macc programs, Baruch does not make any decision until the final transcript is received. The Admissions office told me this was to encourage only those applicants with full-time work experience. I thought most Macc programs were in place to satisfy the 150 hours needed to become a CPA, but I guess I was wrong.
The problem: Deposit due dates for other schools will come before I even hear back from Baruch on a decision (end of June). This is obviously a predicament. Anyone know how difficult it is for someone to get into Baruch right out of undergrad? What do I do with other offers while I wait to hear from Baruch? Any help would be great.
