I sent out all of my applications in mid to late October. I am quite pleased I did so early because I have just received an email today stating that part of my application material was never received. Now I have time to resend it.

Luckily, I have a couple vacations planned for December so maybe the waiting won't always be on my mind.

I completed all of my applications one month ago. One month waiting has already made me paranoid. I have been wondering "what if ..." all the time. What if the application package is lost? What if the score report is missing? What if I get all rejected? Most of the schools I am applying to won't make admission decissions until next April. I will be paranoid for three more months...

Hey,

I will apply for OB program this year. My GMAT is 730, and I had some research experience in econ and sociology. I will apply to 9 schools. Hopefully, I can get in one of them. These days, I work on essays and application.... seem like it never ends. :)

is early admit a possibility? if the deadlines have just passed (and some didn't) is it possible to get an admit decision so soon?

The formal admit is likely to come between Feb and Apr. But an informal one can come anytime :wink:

Mmmm....

I have exchanged several emails with three professors.

I can tell that their answers are positive, but I don't think that they can talk about the admissions firmly before the decisions made by the admissions comittees. Even you get an admission letter, things still may change. One of my friends ever got a second letter informing him that the first admission letter sent to him was a mistake when he applied for an MBA admission. So, I am preparing to apply to some European schools in case I get all rejected in the US... :roll:

2 yrs W/E as an engineer.
undergra gpa 3.3,
1st grad gpa 3.7, 2nd grad gpa 3.6.
Gmat 710

my under major was mechanical eng., 2 master programs are all in biz management. i have received some scholarships and one year RA experience. no paper published.

one of my Masters is from an US university (rank 100+) and another is from top ranking EU biz school.

i applied to Oerpations Management track last year and dinged 2 schools ranked 50 or so. this year i'm aiming at school ranging from 20 to 40.

Would you pleas share the reason that you got rejected by 2 50+ schools last year but aimed at those between 20 and 40 this year? Are you with the same qualifications as you were last year?
