Hi Sam,

When it comes to studying for the GMAT, there are a number of different study materials that you might choose to use. Starting off with a Tutor might get expensive though - and it's not clear whether you actually "need" that type of service or not.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials do you currently have access to?
3) What were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for this first CAT/mock?
4) What is your overall goal score?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

I do provide tutoring for GMAT Prep. You will get daily assignments for practice with video solutions later to check ur work or we will schedule our session to discuss your doubts.

Our sessions would be personalized to cater to your needs.

I'm looking to get GMAT tutoring from someone who can work with me throughout the year.

I want to be clear about my current level of skills so you can make a sound decision and decide if the tutor would like to accept me as a student.

I haven't studied maths since grade 10th and I scored pretty low at that point. It was primarily because I didn't take my studies seriously.
I recently took a mock GMAT and scored 26. Overall I scored 440.

I plan to attend the Winter 2023 session so I have around a year to apply and prepare. I'm ready to spend 3-4 hours a day to study. I just need the right coaching.

Do you guys recommend anyone who you've tried as a tutor? I'm looking for someone who will literally teach me the basics by giving me homework, tests and error correction, etc.

Thanks,
Sam

I used to be quite active on GMAT Club during my GMAT journey but have been inactive for quite a while now, especially since I'm currently in the second year of my MBA. But when I saw this thread asking for recommendations on the GMAT tutors, I thought to jump in.

I highly recommend CJ sir as one of the best GMAT tutors I've come across. I worked with him during my online GMAT prep, and it genuinely transformed my understanding—not just in boosting my scores but also in changing how I approach learning altogether.

CJ sir doesn’t just teach typical GMAT strategies; instead, he ensures you deeply understand concepts, especially in challenging areas like GMAT Reading Comprehension. His teaching style naturally encourages critical thinking and clarity. His online posts and YouTube videos are also incredibly helpful and complement his coaching sessions perfectly.

If you're searching for the best GMAT tutor who truly cares about building your skills beyond just the exam, I strongly suggest reaching out to CJ sir. He makes learning meaningful and impactful. Highly recommended!
