Are you seriously contemplating between Wharton and LBS? C'mon, isnt Wharton the easy winner!!??

I am hoping to be in the same position! I applied to WH in R2 and will apply to LBS in R3. Lets hope I type the same post a few months from now.

A question for Deowl: Is LBS as well know in middle east as Wharton?
I am from India, and Wharton is very well know in India, LBS on the other hand --- not so much!!

Although LBS just opened a new executive education campus in Dubai, I believe Wharton is still better known worldwide. Unless you want to work in the UK, Wharton is better.

I agree that Wharton is the better school, but many Americans don't realize that LBS is a top-ten school globally. If you really prefer London over Philly, you might chose LBS over Wharton.

Thank you all for your advises. As to the reputation of Wharton in my country, honestly speaking I got to know about this school about two months before the application deadline. But I am coming from the IT background so I don't know how strong the its reputation in other sectors.

Wow! You didnt hear of Wharton up until two months before application and you are in.

And there is me, who has dreamt of Wharton for the past 2 years. Lets hope I get in too...if not, I am going to go break something.
