Hi,

I applied Round 3, received an interview invitation on 2/1, and just got a phone call (1:43PM PST) -- I'm in!
Whew, I can sleep a little easier now, knowing that I'm going to school next fall.

Hi Afro64--

I received a phone call (they left a voicemail), and later that afternoon I received an email confirming my admit.

Stats: 700 GMAT / 2.9 UG / 6 yrs WE in nonprofit management / F

I got the admit call last Wednesday as well (Round 3 applicant, interviewed 2/8 in San Francisco), WOOHOO - such a relief! As of today I haven't heard anything on $$$ though.

Anyone on here planning on attending the Admitted Student Weekend in early April?

Hi guys, I was admitted R1 and will be matriculating. Scholarship info came with the acceptance letter and was mentioned in the phone call...not sure how helpful that is to those of you waiting but I'll throw it out there FYI.

Can't decide which admit weekend to aim for. I think I'll call admissions to ask if there is usually a difference in popularity between the two, although work schedule/plane ticket $$ will probably be the biggest factor.

I was an R3 applicant and interview early-ish in February. Seeing other people get admit calls a few weeks ago, I totally assumed I was dinged but I just got a call today and I'm in! Totally makes my decision harder since I resigned myself to the idea that Foster was out of the equation.

Between foster, kelley and smith. I'd love to end up in Seattle after MBA though.

29, male, 7.5 yrs work exp (advertising), 650 GMAT, 3.3 GPA from SC (played up PAC-10 rivalry in essays ;) )

Hey guys,

I got an email from Foster last Thursday congratulating me that i am admitted at the term Fall 2011.

I am very happy that i got in finally. Same with rha, i thought that i was dinged too.

But i am not sure if i can make it to admit weekends, as for the moment, i am thousands of miles away from U.S. :p

I believe it will be very important to attend one. If i can't make it, I will rely on your posts in the forum after you attend one then.

Applied in R3, interviewed in mid Feb, got an admit on March 24th... Whoaaa!!! it feels great!!! :)))

I got a phone call (came from an unknown number...if I saw a 206 area code, I totally would have known it was UW and picked up!). It was followed by an e-mail. I think they called to let me know about Admit Weekend (can't make the April one).

Congrats to all who've been accepted. Seems like the calls are still going out so fingers crossed to those of you still waiting to hear!

For housing - we're looking at Capitol Hill, Madrona, Ravenna, Greenlake, Fremont, Wallingford and possibly Queen Anne areas. When I was up there at a preview weekend event, I heard a # of students say NOT to live in U-district and that a good amount of them seemed to prefer/like Greenlake. My husband will be working near downtown at Harborview Med Center so commute times there factor into our decision as well.
