Anyone ever been to Whistler/Blackcomb BC?

I need restaurant / bar / nightlife suggestions ... going in a week.

Last time I went I think I was about 7, so I don't remember much, and it has undoubtedly changed alot. It is a cool place though, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

My wife & I went there in August. It's a great ski town with a ton of restaurants & bars. You can park in the underground garage and walk around Whistler village. Or check out Upper Village.

Don't remember specific names but the center of Whistler Village has some good pubs where everyone hangs out in the evening.

You are supposed to go there to ski/board...go to bed early and wake up to get the fresh powder. Actually the whole downtown is a blast. I skied there during a summer, a few guys I used to coach and compete with worked at summer ski camps out there. Even in august there was a lot to do and I guess winter is far more exciting. 

Is this a school trip or a trip with the wife...that could play a roll in where you want to go.
