I am not the person to ask but more information about your background would probably help answer that question (do you have BB IB or prior PE experience?). There are a lot of forum posts on this site and more on wallstreetoasis.com regarding PE recruiting from M7 MBA's. Getting into a megafund is essentially impossible without prior PE experience. Mid market and below may be accessible but there you probably need at least IB experience.
I could be wrong, and hope someone corrects me, but that is my take on the PE recruiting scene from cruising the forums. This applies to all of the M7 schools. HBS and Wharton have the best PE networks but even there it is reportedly near impossible to break in through an MBA program without prior experience. Same notes about smaller firm and IB exp apply.
PE doesn't seem to really recruit from IB at the post-MBA level either, as they are more interested in analysts than associates, but I hear there are some exceptions. There are funds that will take consultants, and here being post-MBA may be helpful? I'm not sure.
