If you ask me, I'd say that the best way to learn is by practising the problems. Through practice, I was able to learn and use strategies more efficiently than by just reading about strategies. I found the strategies in the MGMAT IR book all boiled down to common sense such as read the questions properly, ask yourself the right questions etc. and it didn't help me much at all. If you already have the MGMAT QBanks, I'd say stick with finding strategies through free online resources. If you've seen the MGMAT IR workshop, its basically covers everything in the book anyway.

thanks for the reply. I havent watched the IR workshop yet so I will take a look at that as well. Sounds to me like the MGMAT IR workshop + Magoo + MGMAT IR question banks are more than enough to do ok on this section.

I would think so. However, I would also recommend the OG IR QBank as well. I got that free with the OG 13th but I believe you can purchase it separately as well. What's also helping me is doing the same problem a couple of times. Good luck!

I have the MGMAT guides for other sections. I think the strategies provided by MGMAT are pretty efficient and by experience I would definitely go with MGMAT for IR

is there any way one can purchase OG IR (online) without buying the book? I already have few OG books. Just want to have the access to the Online 50 IR questions.

Donno why the price difference but as long as you're buying a new book, you will have access to the IR Q Banks. Behind every book is a URL and code that lets you activate the banks. If its a used book, then perhaps the previous owner already activated the banks...

I have the book but personally found it cumbersome, and instead followed the Powerscore CR which i find is a better book on this topic and far more comprehensive and applicable.

FYI, ManhattanGMAT is offering an excellent interactive tutorial on the website for free. Have gone through it and found it very helpful. They offer practice questions as well.
