Hey guys, there isn't any topics for students joining the MiM program this year at ESSEC. I thought I would start one, so that all the students who are admitted, or who seek admissions can pool in all their resources to find good accommodations, look out for scholarships, and help each other out. So guys, please involve yourselves in the discussions. Even I will be happy to help in anyway I can. Also, has anyone already got admitted to ESSEC after the first round of interviews???

yeah yeah.. Ive already paid the 4000euros too.. so its all decided for me.. no not really.. isn't it a bit too early for all that? have u confirmed ESSEC too?

I applied in the 2nd round and got through .
I graduated last year from CEG ,Anna University Chennai and currently work with CA technologies.
I have got into ESCP also .
So , What else did you ppl get into ? What made you choose ESSEC ?

Hi Kannan, even I got into ESCP and Em Lyon but chose ESSEC because of the Singapore campus, their chair programs, etc. I'm not planning on permanently settling in EU so I wanted some Asian exposure while studying, which ESSEC can provide. I spoke to many ppl from all 3 colleges, and found ESSEC to be the superior choice for me. What else have you found out about the college?

ESSEC is superior compared to ESCP in France . I also liked the schools with which they have exchange programs . I liked the flexibility that ESSEC offers when compared to ESCP (Though ESCP is more flexible than HEC). A lot of reasons put together like this . But , I am still undecided . Did you get any scholarships?

Yeah. like you said, there are many more reasons for me choosing ESSEC. The mentoring option included. The only thing I have left to do is to pay the 4K euro and get admitted. I haven't received word of any scholarship coming my way :P what about you?
Btw, hasn't the last date for paying the fees at ESCP expired? just confirm if you are undecided.

To answer your previous question, I am an engineer, majored an elec and comm, from Mysore. Studied at Vidya Vardhaka, Affiliated to VTU. I did an internship at a PCB assembly and manufacturing plant, and I am now managing a pharmaceutical logistics business based in Mysore.

Great. About the scholarships, as I understand it, the college alone decides who gets them. I know of a guy who got a scholarship, but he joined another school. About the excellence scholarships, I heard that the college will announce the results sometime in June. I am trying to find out more, but just running into dead ends. About the internships, (if thats what you meant) it is compulsory for all students to take up paid internships, and reading the info on the college site, there have been thousands of internships posted every year. Btw, did you pay the 4K euro for the admission?

no i have not paid 4k euro yet.... and is internship and apprenticeship same? if its the same and compulsory then its good in all the ways! what about the other scholarships? any idea? how to reduce the investments costs?
